Together?

2019-2020

Together? is a long-term project that I have been working on between 2019-2020. The main topic of this project is non-monogamous relationships and especially polyamory. My work is based on my own experience with this type of relationship as well as on research I conducted. During this research I approached people who have experience of non-monogamy. I also reached out to psychologists who are involved in polyamory on a professional level to give me their perspective on non-monogamous relationships.

Through my work I have tried to capture moments of love as well as hidden manipulation, rivalry between partners and feelings of loneliness.

I worked with the subject matter in the medium of sculpture, performance, spatial installation, and photography. I finished my work with a moving fabric labyrinth that the viewer could walk through.
